Cationorm PRO contains: medium chain triglycerides, glycerol, tyloxapol, poloxamer 188, cetalkonium chloride, sodium hydroxide and water for injections. Each single-dose container of Cationorm PRO contains 0.4 ml of sterile emulsion. Cationorm PRO is indicated for the treatment of the symptoms of dry eye. It helps to hydrate, lubricate and protect the ocular surface. It is recommended for the relief of dry eye symptoms, characterised by stinging, itching or burning in the eyes or by the sensation of a foreign body (sand, dust, etc.). These symptoms may be caused by external factors such as air conditioning, pollution, air travel, work on computer terminals, eye surgery, refractive surgery, contact lenses, etc. or by diseases such as blepharitis or meibomian gland dysfunction.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e \u003cb\u003eHow to use\u003c\/b\u003e \u003cbr\u003eOphthalmic use. The recommended dose is one drop in each affected eye, 1 to 4 times daily. Directions for use: -wash hands;\u003cbr\u003e -carefully open the aluminum bag containing five single-dose containers;\u003cbr\u003e -take a single-dose container from the aluminum bag and keep the closed one(s) inside the bag;\u003cbr\u003e -shake the single-dose container gently before use;\u003cbr\u003e -unscrew the top part of the single-dose container;\u003cbr\u003e -tilt your head back;\u003cbr\u003e -gently lower the lower eyelid and look up;\u003cbr\u003e -hold the single-dose container over the eye and press lightly to instill a drop into the eye, open and close the eyes several times.\u003cbr\u003e -do not touch your eye or eyelashes with the tip of the single-dose container.\u003cbr\u003e The single-dose container must be used immediately after opening and discarded after use. These symptoms are part of the typical manifestations of dry eye syndrome associated with the underlying medical conditions present in patients with dry eye.
